The beans

In the shop, you'll find a range of different, single origin coffees from the farms of Vides58, which have been carefully roasted to ensure the best experience possible. The flavour notes, roast and recommended brewing methods for each coffee can be found in the description.

The resealable bags come in three different sizes; 250g, 500g, and 1kg. It's advisable to keep the coffee sealed and at room temp away from sunlight, that way freshness can be maintained after opening, best consumed within 12 months. 

The resting process happens post-roast and is when trapped carbon dioxide is released from the beans before grinding and brewing, allowing them to reach their full potential. This can range from a couple of days to two months depending on density and roast. Coffees are tasted regularly to ensure that the flavours are up to standard. It is recommended to wait 10 days after roast date if possible before brewing to get the most consistent experience. 

I'll always aim to post orders between 24-48 hours of being placed using Royal Mail Tracked 48, so that they're with you in 3-5 working days. If you are local to BCP and in desperate need of a caffeine fix, you can collect your order Monday to Thursday between 6-8pm at no extra charge. 

At the moment I do not offer a subscription service, however this is definitely something I am working towards. Follow Tierra58 on Instagram to keep up to date with any developments and be the first to know when subscription services are offered.

Any left over bags from previous roasts that are past their prime but still tasting fabulous will remain on the store but at a discounted price. Not only does this prevent wastage, but also allows for smaller price points - great if you're not wanting to splash out but still want a taste of specialty. All bags have a roast date on them, so you'll always know when it was roasted.

All coffees are kept in a sealed, cool environment and quality controlled. Every step is taken to make sure every bag that goes out is still worth brewing. 

Freshly roasted, whole bean coffee can last up to a whole year if completely sealed.

If you wish to make a return, please email me at marcella@tierra58.com. Returns can be accepted at your own cost 14 days after purchase. Replacements and refunds will only be made if the product is faulty or damaged, but due to limited stock, the same product cannot be guaranteed.
